Talks’Summary
What does average look like? What scores and performances are needed to pass.
David will look at student performance over the last 2 years and look at how their strengths and weaknesses contribute to passing. Where do
students need to focus to get the most valuable extra points. David will show statistics from the most recent sessions alongside examples of students work including average students, high flyers
and those who fall just short.
How To Help Average Learners Perform Their Best: Goal-Setting and Grit
Consider the wide range of skills that
communicative competence encompasses. Scrutinize what is to be assessed and how. Plan a tentative procedure for guiding learners and invite them to make contributions. Involve learners in their own very goal-setting to encourage them to share in their steps to success.
