31st International Publishers Exhibition

foreign and Greek publishing houses sponsor the 31st International Publishers Exhibition in Thessaloniki. The exhibition and seminars will take place on Saturday, March 15 2014, 10.00 – 18.00 and on Sunday, March 16 2014, 10.00 – 17.00, at The MET Hotel.

Keeping our commitment to lifelong learning, the 31st IPE will feature 28 seminars, workshops and presentations, all hosted by prominent authors, teacher trainers and publishers. Dr. Eleni Livaniou will analyze issues of comorbidity of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and autistic spectrum disorder. Teacher trainer and writer Mr. Nik Peachey will conduct a workshop in developing materials and practices for the screen age generation and Mrs. Marisa Constantinides will talk about the amazing growth in professional development opportunities available via social networking.

Foreign Language School (FLS) Owners will get the chance to keep up to date by attending the presentation of E.O.P.P.E.P. regarding the new framework of FLS permits, hosted by Mr. Athanasios Vasilainas (Head of Permits for Lifelong Learning Centers-Ministry of Education).  Mrs. Evi Zouroudi Argoudeli and Mr. Thanasis Argoudelis will give important advice through their “The 8 key factors for successful enrollments” workshop. For the second time in a row, FLS Owners will have the opportunity to exchange ideas and opinions on subjects of high importance concerning their schools, by taking part in the “discussion group” which is scheduled for Sunday, March 16, 2014, 10.30.

Dr. Antonis Ventouris (Lecturer in Italian Literature – Aristotle University Thessaloniki) will give a presentation regarding the Kratiko Pistopoiitiko Glossomathias and Mr. Telis Marin of Edilingua will focus on the newest products that publishers offer teachers to use in class. During the extensive exhibition visitors can inspect the latest available English, Chinese, French, German, Italian and Spanish books and teaching materials.

The admission to the IPE, the biggest event of its kind in Northern Greece, is free for teachers and professors of private and state schools, colleges, TEI and universities.
